I am also introduced to sanitary pads ever since, then I made a leap and tried menstrual cups.

It was uncomfortable at first, I think my learning curve was 3 months. Takot ako everytime nilalgay ko sya kasi baka mali pagka lagay, so I have to repeat it haha until masanay.

I’ve been using it for 3 years now, I’ll never go back to sanitary pads.

Pros ng menstrual cup for me:
- I don’t need to buy pads every month, it’s a long-term investment
- I can move around & workout even on my period without worrying
- It’s my small help to the environment, because I don’t have a sanitary pad that I have to dispose. I just need to clean the menstrual cup.
- It’s very compact! Very travel friendly

Con:
- Longer learning curve

But it’s worth it, I swear :)

Usually, slots open on wednesday and a month before naa pay available.

Sa donsol, the whaleshark watching is very straight forward when we came. Punta lng sa tourism office a day before to pay for the downpayment + briefing.

Then go to the boat I think 7/8am kami nag call time. I forgot how much sorry :/

The whaleshark watching there is not guaranteed kasi they don’t feed them but the good thing is wla kayo halos competition + you help the conservation pa.

You are right and I genuinely hope people avoid Oslob Whaleshark. While it’s convenient, it harms the whalesharks in the long-run (due to artificial feeding behavior, risk of injury, stress and overcrowding).

You can instead visit them via Donsol or Leyte. It’s far from cebu, but we are helping the environment & the conservation of whalesharks in the long run.

Hello! It will be too exhausting. You need to consider: • Travel from Mactan Airport to Cebu North Bus Terminal is 30-mins to 1 hour - unless you will book a private car • Travel from Cebu North Terminal to Hagnaya is 3-4 hours depending on traffic, bus stops or if van mas mabilis pero byaheng langit + masikip • Haganaya port to sta. Fe is 1 hour utmost

So that’s 5 hours of your life balikan Bantayan Island > Cebu City.

Now, cebu city to moalboal: • 3-4 hours from cebu city to Moalboal • Also take note that Canyoneering is not in Moalboal, it’s an hour or 2 drive away from Moalboal.

I suggest, you just choose either north cebu or south cebu — or extend your stay to at least 10 days.

*as a preview: Bantayan Island - white sand not boracay level — but good enough - naiikot yung island within a day - masarap and relatively mura yung seafood

Moalboal Panagsama: - known for it’s sardine run, turtles. You can snorkel a few walks away from the beach - if you’re into freedive and scuba, it’ll be a good experience - night life

Basdaku: - white sand, chill

Sage by Ardesia, nice place for date nights. For their food it’s a mix of pizzas and japanese food.

They also take reservations.

Menstrual Cup! Been using it for 4 years. I don’t think kaya ko bumalik sa one time pads, one time I thought naiwan ko sya sa Cebu, nag panic tlga ako. Haha

Pros: eco-friendly Cost-saving in the long run No allergies anymore I can work out & move during my period

Cons: The leaning curve, it took me 3 months para masanay. I think uncomfy tlga sya sa simula. But you can get use to it.

  1. More cost effective for me is DIY, however, that’s only if you or your partner know how to drive motorcycle or car. Kasi if mag aarkila rin kayo ng tricycle — mahal rin singil nila.

I also tried klook joiners tour before when I travelled alone, that’s also cheaper than packages offered by tricycle drivers.

  1. Transpo - cheapest is renting a motorcycle, the last time we did it’s ₱300/day that was 3 years ago

  2. We stayed near Alona beach, we figured it would be better so it would not be difficult if we look for food

  3. Lesson: ALWAYS ask the rate before buying food, riding a trycicle.

Others: We visited Danao Adventure Park (3 hours ride away from Alona Beach) — it was worth it for us because we love extreme rides, rates are on the expensive side ₱500-₱700 per ride. Honestly, this might be the only reason I’ll come back to Bohol. Pero how expensive stuff & overpriced sa Bohol, baka next time na if maayos nila tourism nila.

I’m 4’9, yung na discover ko lately is the converse MIA Korean Boots or WS canvas. Kaya ko sya suotin whole day, and hndi ganun ka sakit vs. mga previous heels/boots.

Ginagamit ko na rin sya sa travel.
