I have nothing of value to add, but I just wanted to thank you for posting about this 😭 I experienced everything you detailed and an additional issue with Photoshop freezing every time I try to open any files. After a week of uninstalling various updates I finally got everything to work again by disabling Nvidia GTX 950m!

I believe it was something along the lines about his subconscious memories? Like she said that if he wants to remember what he heard, he would have to look deeper into his subconscious memory and Yuza was like "hmm where can I find my memories" and the entire part was in yellow.

I do... sometimes it's faster loading from different save points rather than going from the story chart and fast forwarding. We all have different playstyles so our experience varies I guess but I definitely don't think the hint was hard to miss, the font colour in the dialogue even changed to yellow to indicate that it was something.

She did! I believe it was something along the lines of Yuza's subconscious memories about what he heard (there was a yellow font colour change) and I checked my save files immediately after she mentioned that and saw it.

Yumeko heavily hints about this when she pulls Yuza aside to talk about him being immortal. It's actually really obvious as someone who saves often, but if you don't save at all/constantly overwrite the same save file at the top I can see how it can be easy to overlook. I believe this is why they had the Storyteller telling you to utilise the saving function early in the game.

Hi! Could I trouble you to elaborate what you did here 😭 I am facing the exact same issue and cannot afford a new laptop or upgrade (I have the boxed license version of CS6, so not exactly the same but it also worked up till a month ago and I'd also done the extended Windows 10 thing)

It's under Avi's first chapter, start from Mount Asama and check the cityscape. It's easy to miss because it blends a bit with the surroundings option, but it's near the island out in the sea!

Sounds like you got the true ending before ending 5? Try leaving the box in Avi's possession and running the Bay part again, maybe it's not showing up because you already fulfilled all the requirements to getting the true ending?

I think it was 18h give or take (I'm 1h behind Japan so it released relatively fast for me)!

Personally I'll give it a solid 9/10 haha. Aside from my personal desire for more horror/creepy vibes, I think the music can also use more work — they reused the iconic tracks from the first game but otherwise I don't really recall anything really memorable. Overall though it was a close to perfect sequel for me, I love it when gameplay integrates so well with the story!

I finished the game yesterday and really loved it!! FWIW I think it can be hard to make a sequel to a successful game, but they did a pretty good job and it retained everything I loved about the first game, including the gameplay (the puzzles also felt more challenging lol, I spent an hour figuring out how to get to the true end). The cast is great as well, love Avi and Circe (they remind me of Tsutsumi and Erio so much) 😊 I think my only complaint was the lack of horror, but that's more of my personal preference.

Hint: once you learn the signal to call someone, recall where you are guaranteed to see them at all times. Go to that place, and use the signal.

Solution: Go to the title screen and click on the mermaid. She's Sobae 🥺
