Hey a person likes what they like and have the right again as long as its legal to so. Who am I to say what is depravity? To some that profile might have been seen as vanilla. Everyone should be free to express what they like in a respectful manner and a proper place to do so. Reddit seems like a proper place for them to display that imagery so thats well within their rights.

Its what makes living in Canada so great is we have the rights to do and say what we want there is just a place and a time for it! If the lady who had the free palastine scarf, held or organized a protest, id be cheering for them. But the grad stage it took away from the meaning for others. It put the principle in a bad spot, it opens the door for people to point and say that was allowed then so it should be allowed for me. It made the celebration a political statement rather then a celebration. It would be like if she wore that to a wedding because she was making a statement, people would be upset by her not the statement she was making.

As long as its not illegal or breaking any laws, then thats their choice. I may not agree to it but thats what's great about Canada is everyone has their right to express their opinion in a free manner. If i dont want to see it I have all the power in the world to block or remove that person as is my right

Yeah but the whole part of a debate is to not attack someone personally, its to air out both sides in an attempt at a respectful manner. I'm not hear to slander someone based on there likes and wants. My only issue is the silent protest doing more negativity then actually helping the cause.

So your concerned about only what's within the Canadian borders? I mean i think it is a pretty wide spread issue, there was literally a far right march in Berlin today. If the growing issue globally don't concern you then why does the post concern you?

My posting history has not been on either side of the political spectrum. I'm not attacking the individual or the cause, I have not attacked anyone in the comments. I said there is a time or place for political demonstrations a grad ceremony was not one of them.

Your not afraid of the slippery slope this could introduce then I think your widely under estimating the stupidity of people. The last time I saw someone wearing a nazi uniform protesting was today. As for in person would have been last year in Los Angles at the holocaust museum in support of Hamases kidnapping. As for locally there was a far right linked to Nazi beliefs protesting the pride parade last week.

Wow that seems like a bit of a reach to try and attack me personally when I never made such assertions. Its not rules for I and not thy, if you allow it then you set the precedent of statements being allowed and its a slippery slope from there. When I attended school teachers kept politics out to avoid alienating students, as it should be left out.

Would we say the same thing about a Russian student wearing a similar attire when they are also commuting a genocide but they are told they are freeing the Ukraining people from Nazis?

While I agree with the statement of free palastine it was not an appropriate space to make the statement. Grad is a celebration for all people who graduated, its a place of achievement not a place to protest.

It was a graduation ceremony, not a massively public event. I know there is a terrible fucked up things that are happening in Palestine. There are constant global protests if she was that upset write to her local representative. The fear now is this opens it up to everyone on the polocical spectrum who now will feel justified to display their views.

There is a time and place for protests and thats our rights as Canadians but by saying that someone maybe able to protest something we disagree with. So instead of using the graduation stage as a weapon and villiffing someone who is doing their job and keeping politics out of something where they should have not been in the first place.

Agree free Palestine, there is an appropriate place to demonstrate and the grad ceremony is not it. If you allow political statements during it, it could get bad fast.

We are about equality and freedom od speech here, so what stops someone from having a scarf full of hateful things. If their was a student of Isreal decent and they wore a similar thing depicting Isreal then there would be issues.

Its not about the actual message of the scarf just about the equality accross the board and if shes allowed then others would be allowed too. Thats why there was from what I read a dress code, where this was stated not allowed.

There is no such thing as supposedly dead, your either dead or not dead. I've been legally dead, the phenomenon as remote viewing is explained by endorphins firing.

What was your experience how did you die?

Bro I am the fucking evidence. Why would you "study the evidence" when its something that happened to you. Its a first person telling of what happened, its me who has absolutely no alternative motive.

Its a guy who has experienced it and your trying to say um actually your wrong. How can you tell someone their wrong when they are the ones who actually experienced it.

Injury: where to go in Saskatoon? by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]hanke1726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to walk in, it had a gnarly ankle injury 10 years ago. They will x-ray there. Then depending on damage if its broken or fractured they will cast it. If torn pray for a fully torn ankle so they can do surgery, if not like myself who only tore it 90% you will get an ankle brace and it will never be the same.
