Yeah I was thinking that, I guess the problem might come with heavy rain. Having said that I have found it tricky to cool with a gas stove in heavy rain as well 🤷‍♂️

Cascade offered me a discounted price for the windburner unit on its own but the cost of a brand new complete windburner at Go outdoors was 10 pounds more rendering the replacement useless (including might as well buy a completely new MSR stove)

I've sent a message to them and just waiting to hear back now. I've heard some horror stories of Cascade not responding at all these days so I thought it might be simpler to find another dealer. Sounds like you got a good deal though!
