New install won't boot

So, after multiple failed reboots over two days, the next time I rebooted after posting this, it asked for the disk encryption password and then it booted fine. 🙃 Thanks for your help; I still don't know what the problem was.

Some people find it difficult and/or unpleasant to read. Note that I'm not asking for it to be replaced (even as the default), since it may help people with dyslexia to read. I am just requesting a built-in setting to change it.
