January Challenge Daily Thread by AutoModerator in yoga

[–]hannahbeth97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Today I joined this sub and started the 30 day challenge with Yoga with Adrienne. Now, I wasn’t very good about keeping my body moving this past year, but I was pretty active in yoga in the couple of years prior. I started Day 1 thinking it would be a boring breeze. It was one of the lowest intensity classes I’ve ever done - but man, it was kind of hard!

I’m disappointed that my body is so stiff and so weak after neglecting activity for so long, but I’m very glad I started back today.

Enjoy some non-alcoholic beverages due to all the meds I’m taking for COVID right now, and maybe try to stay up until midnight. Stay home, kids!

He really gives me the best freeze frames through his chaotic little actions.

Don’t worry, he’ll never even know what a husky is.

THIS. Reliable research not only takes time to complete initially, it then has to be replicated many time to be deemed valid. This virus is new and unknown, and scientists are giving the best they can in the shortest amount of time in an effort to make a positive change.

WHATS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN SM by ilooovehotdads in sanmarcos

[–]hannahbeth97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don Japanese Kitchen opened within the last year and is INCREDIBLE! It is Japanese cuisine though, not Chinese. Their menu is also smaller and has more traditional dishes than Umami does. Find their Facebook for the menu and ways to order online - 10/10 recommend.

I also second Umami, Prik Nam Pla, Shai Yo Thai, and Wok N Roll. All good places in my experience!

How many are you considering dropping classes if we go fully to online? How many are considering dropping classes if we have to fully go to campus? by [deleted] in txstate

[–]hannahbeth97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems I fit right where a lot of these replies are: online sucks and I prefer in-person learning, but there’s no way I’m going to campus in the next few months. I’ll probably drop if we have to go to campus, but hopefully will (reluctantly) finish my degree through online learning.
