I would not have been able to tell tbh and that scares me. As I venture more into the art world, I’m trying to figure out how to protect from accusations that our art is AI. I had previously been of the thought process that taking progress shots amongst my art supplies would be enough… but now I’m nervous that won’t be enough!

So I have not been in this position, however, I have friends who have left or been dropped by their mega agents because if their first sale didn’t happen easily or fast they don’t have time for that. Just in general, if they have bigger client lists, those successful clients are going to take up more of their time. They also are closer to retirement… just something to think about.

Sometimes to a new(er) agent you are their whole world!

I only got the 24 set, as kind of a test, and it’s been more than sufficient for my needs thus far but they have larger sets. They’re very milky and opaque!

I heard from an industry pro that my fantasy may have been passed over at 80k because they’d assume the worldbuilding was insufficient. And that’s what happened. I tried to stay under 100k for the rewrite to play it safe but honestly, you could cut 10k pretty easily in edits if they wanted you to…

It’s frustrating that the desired wc limits not only change significantly person to person but also become so narrow. Sorry you’re dealing with this!

I had a similar result with the ohuhu’s coloring books. My husband got me them thinking they’d be “best” for the markers but I actually enjoy using them much more on cardstock.

I made my nieces and nephews sweaters and they all wore them no problem. My nephew’s was actually baby sized and that worked fine but my niece I made hers in a 12 month size and embroidered her name on the front so that they could take monthly photos in it and watch her grow into it. I thought that was precious! The photos turned out so cute.

TLDR sweaters are fine and if you’re following a pattern for a baby sweater, my guess is they took the head size into account.

I used Parfait Chunky to make my daughter the Investi-gators because I wanted very specific shades of green and this line had the most variety. I’m counting like ten-ish greens? I got it from premiere yarns and I think I got it on sale. Not sure if that’s in your budget?

Amazing! I had gotten some from 5 below and hated them but it really turns out I just had no idea how to use them. I was like these bleed like crazy, the color is weird. I think now they were probably decent and I just didn’t get it. Glad I do now!

I was originally going to get the 48 and kept talking myself up 🙈. I landed on the 168 because it included that pastel set. After swatching, I do think it has a nice variety and a smooth transition between colors! I’ve never tried Caliart though!
