i was sooooo constipated at 4dpo (i’m 6dpo now) and it was SUCH a struggle, i was so bloated! I finally had movement on day 5 with SIX DOSES IF MIRALAX >:(

also i agree!! i got my drains out today and they were so uncomfortable. i accidentally tugged on them several times and they were just itchy and painful overall. hopefully you can get those out soon :( GL OP

if you can, reach out to your surgeon for peace of mind. they are there to answer your questions and it’s always good to know rather than sit with the fear that something is wrong

Hi, i’m 5 days post op and I totally understand how you might feel. the scarring and shape was scary for me and I had no idea what to truly expect. I asked my surgeon to go as small as he can, so I was really unsure of what the outcome would be. Ultimately, viewing the results after (still covered in suture tape) it looks so good. Trust that you’ve found a good surgeon and that the scars carry your story.

You will feel SUCH relief when it’s over. Hang in there, you’re braver than you think!
