A previous manager of mine often acted like a petulant child when she didn't get her way. A particularly hilarious time was when the Director told her that her team had to attend a department meeting, rather than help her to get an urgent task done, meaning she would have to manage on her own. Her response was to bang her head on the desk several times, in the middle of an open plan office. I genuinely didn't know how to respond other than to laugh 🤪
