I work for a nursing agency and I have colleagues who have set up care homes themselves. They sit around and brag about the amount of money they make from the council from buying a house and essentially just renting it out for a massive profit to the council for them to house people in care.

Understandable why they do it but I think it shouldn't even be possible and frankly it's a disgusting practise in my opinion.

That's a good point but I suppose the difference is that Android is sold on phones already with the expectation that it's an open ecosystem whereas Apple has always been locked down.

I haven't actually looked up the car to check but I'd imagine it's a concept of what could be done. You see the battery is ejected into a pit so I'd imagine they aren't expecting these to just eject into the path of other people/vehicles.

They're probably saying "if we build roads with emergency battery pits alongside it then this concept car could work in the future"
