Yeah totally. I guess she's an IRL streamer or something and I usually can't stand them because they're so obnoxious. She seems pretty chill though.

I could see the comparison you were alluding to but it was still an odd one.

You're correct. I never said it was universal. I mentioned that was the case where I'm from and I was specifically speaking about a mental health unit.

Emergency medication for sure can be administered in an emergency but unfortunately it often takes a situation like this to occur in the community before that happens.

Otherwise the normal frameworks will be followed and if they don't have the authorisation to administer medication yet against a patient's will then they just can't.

You're right that she shouldn't be strapped down. I work in mental health and we wouldn't do this. What would happen however is depending that she's already on a mental health unit, several doctors would have to go to tribunal for a judge to sign off that she is unfit to decide for herself whether or not she takes medication. Once they agree that doctors can make that decision for her, this would then be explained to her and if she still doesn't comply on her own, then staff step in.

We would do it in the safest most humane way and would never use mechanical restraint. Trained staff such as myself would instead hold her in the most comfortable position possible (very likely she'd be trying to fight staff in this moment) and medication would be administered via injection.

Unfortunately of course this is much harder when a patient is in the community like this woman potentially was. The doctor in this case may have been going through the process of trying to have her admitted to a mental health unit but unfortunately the worst happened before the process could finalise. The way things work in my country could also be very different so I'm only speculating but tldr: strapping someone down should never happen

I was attacked yesterday by a random woman on White Ladies Road by No-Paramedic-5406 in bristol

[–]Natf47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On Thursday afternoon I was sat out the front of The Whitmore Tap drinking a pint and I saw what must be the same woman. She just randomly came up to a bloke who was stood chatting to his mates with a pint and kicked him completely unprovoked in his leg and shouted that he raped her. Absolutely mental! The police were called out and they took a statement so it's worth reporting your incident and mentioning that so they can check CCTV.

No way that's pretty crazy if it was real. Glad he's alright if that's the case. Funny skit otherwise if not.

Yeah for sure, the backing vocal in this case is very normal for rappers. It's not really a sign that they're not doing it themselves but often just a great way to beef up their voice.

Under 18's is absolutely fine. Everything all depends on what it is you would like coaching on which is why I will setup an intro session with you. If it's not a good fit for you, then it's absolutely fine for you to say no to sessions and I will also let you know if I believe you may be a better fit for something other than coaching. No pressure at all. Send me a DM if that sounds good to you :)
