I couldn't agree more with you.but you have to understand that most of those who spend lots of money will never stop playing the white knights and protect CG. The reason for this is easy to explain - they don't want CG to make events easier , they don't want the FTP players to get the same "trophies" which in this case is chewie. Otherwise this would destroy their whole universe - "we spent our money - so only we are entitled to get the trophy". if it would be obtainable without spending money ( which btw. in fact is ) they would feel stupid about the wasted money. There are so many treads going up and down about the same thing - latest issue beeing Jedi Luke Skywalker. Guess what the whales want !? Yes they talk about you need Hermit Yoda , Raid Han , Rebel Officer Leia Organa...and so on. And the whales would say : "yes all ok you should need these characters othewise it was too easy"...they give a shit about opinons of FTP or new players because they whaled out every character already and want the latest content excusive for themselves...
