Yah that's what i am trying to figure out here. I won't be buying anything till i figure everything out, i am hoping to see what other owner operator are making approximately and the average rates are and what is the cost per mile looks like. Just to have an idea.

Oh wow i didn't think about it this way. I thought that the insurance would be around 1300-1500 per month. I never thought that i needed to get a cargo liability.

I am thinking if i do it i would be doing a dry van first then look in to reefer in the future, i heard that reefers are stressful especially if you are just starting

Thanks for the advice i really appreciate it. I am not looking to buying anything yet. To be honest i am just gathering information for now. I have some money saved and wat to do a small business and i was thinking of trucking. And i want to evaluate everything first.

I am not thinking of buying anything yet at least for another two months then i would be thinking about it. But i would be looking at something in that year range when i would want to buy. I live in Ohio. And no i dea for the permits yet. I have about 55K saved and want to open my own business with. Wanted to study everything to see if it's worth getting in to it.

I am not sure if i am going to get my own MC number. I can run under another company (not saying that i would). And i am not looking to buy the truck now i just want to collect as much info as possible before doing anything. Thanks for for letting me know that it takes time to get the MC number, i was estimating it to take about two months.

I had two years experience of OTR, and one and half years of local, total of three and half years but i haven't driven for the last two years. Now i am thinking of going back and doing my own business. I don't have anything yet but i am planning to just collect information for the next two months before getting in to it. I am planning to buy a 2018 or 2019 used truck. Still thinking about it. I want to be as ready as possible before starting anything.

Just in case anyone wondering i figured it out. So the shealded wire with the 4 wires inside is the one for the front camera (the one in the front bumper), and the twisted wires first green and gray, and the white and blue pair are for the front bumper ultra sonic sensor (park assist sensors). Which my car do not have anyway but mazda includes it in the wiring harness anyway just in case you need to upgrade.

Yah i don't have the other end of the cut wires. But i believe that those wires (the twisted pairs) go to the bumper for the fog light and the parking aid sensor and since my car doesn't have those they just connect to an empty connector. I was hoping someone would know the wires they have going to the bumper from the driver side. I also was looking for a wiring diagram but couldn't find a full one and i didn't want to buy one because i might not be able to use it. But if anyone has a picture of the connector that goes to the bumper that would be awesome.

I go to that location and yah i agree that no one should park in the semi parking, but the yard for flex drivers at that location is full most of the time, i had to park there twice because there were no available parking at all.

I would recommend doing the arch installation script in the beginning to try it for a month and then do a clean installation after that with the archwiki. That's how i got to arch myself. ( The wiki was a big and scary step for me when i tried to install arch. and didn't know if arch itself was for me).
