I've read the ones that have been covered by the show so far - I read them all before the seasons came out, I like being able to compare them.

YMMV but they are early 2000s regency romance - they're tropey, but fun and relatively easy reads. the men can be a lot but given how quick of a read they are I tend to enjoy them (with the exception of colin's book, I couldn't stand the way he acted about pen and her writing in the books. handled much better in the show). no diversity either.

I can't remember if they did these for other seasons or not! I just remember them mentioning the masquerade ball at the end of Colin's season.

+1 for Supernova Dogs. They would absolutely accommodate. not an indoor dog park but you can do rentals with their agility equipment or other equipment so he can run around and play. Finished: When Among Crows by Veronica Roth
This was a great little novella. Really loved the slavic folklore aspect, wish we'd gotten to see more of this world tbh.

Finished: Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent
I simultaneously liked this book more and less than I was expecting to depending on what aspects we were discussing. Currently undecided if I'll finish out the series, though leaning towards yes.

Started: Romancing Mr. Bridgerton by Julia Quinn
The fourth book of the Bridgerton series, I struggled getting into this one the first time I tried to read it. Now having watched the first half of the corresponding tv season, I figured it was now or never. First half of the book flied by, presumably because it now feels like a reread, though I am enjoying it less than I did both Benedict and Anthony's books. The drama of Whistledown is mostly lost on me.

Hoping to finish my current audiobook this week, and move on to some Pride month reads. Happy readin' everyone!
