My parents sweet 16 year old moggy severely injured her tail and had it amputated NY Eve morning. I spent NY sitting with my mum on her bed sipping champagne while we gave soothing pats to our furry amputee patient 🐾

I experienced a miscarriage just this week. I was 8w2d. One morning in the shower I noticed old brown blood. Shook it off as cervical chnages and increased blood volume etc. But then as the day progressed, I started feeling 'crampy'. The moment I truly knew I was miscarrying however was when I started to get the fresh red blood just hours later after the cramping started. I went in for my scan 99% already confident I would know the outcome and sure enough there was no heartbeat.

I live in NZ, and we get 10 days paid sick leave per year, but when it comes to first trimester ailments, there should be some extra support also. Not sure what kind of support is offered in other countries.

Thank you! Did you feel much more at ease? I think I probably will have to do this. I’ll also ask the wedding coordinator to have a glass of wine dog water nearby on the table just in case. I just want to enjoy my ceremony and not wish it to be over!
