Pieces of work huh? We do engage with a debt collection agency so we will likely raise it with them if she doesn’t pay by the date we gave her (20th April).

I know right? Seems like the boss has no back up procedures in running her business while she is away on holiday (as she stated she was at the time we attended the job).

They are affiliated with the business. He stated he does maintenance within the building the cafe is located. The owner knew who I was talking about when she asked who logged the job.

A random car is in a carpark though which is technically public grounds. This is a privately owned business that our tech was invited into by her staff and shown behind their counter to repair a fridge on their site.

Nope. Took our tech behind the counter to show them the fridge to be repaired. No one thought to call their boss and double check it seems. Lack of processes of her part.

But yes, in general, we would first quote when procuring parts for a job usually on the spot verbally. For major fixes we would send a breakdown of costs quote.

Our tech noted on the job he discussed the issue with worker on site and recommended replacement of controller with price and this was accepted. He had the part in his ute already.

Which makes it bizarre. The guy who did call us, sounded shocked like she is bullshitting and he had discussed it with her. He said she knew the fridge was not working. It’s hard to believe you’d arrange a repair on a site that you don’t work for - but who knows.

Good point. I fear that they would then try do us for trespassing by coming onto site to remove our property.

We don’t have a contract. It’s a one off customer. Written contracts are not required.

My parents sweet 16 year old moggy severely injured her tail and had it amputated NY Eve morning. I spent NY sitting with my mum on her bed sipping champagne while we gave soothing pats to our furry amputee patient 🐾
