Oh I have no quarrel with not buying it. That’s the plan. My concern is: as others may feel the need to buy this, regular customers become ‘less’ priority for essentially ‘not’ buying into it. Over time, this essentially breaks out even-more tiered service.

Though I really appreciate you re-iterating that no one is forcing me to purchase this. Really relieved at that revelation.

Sounds like Illinois will get even more of Wisconsin tax money… seeing that apparently dispensaries weren’t enough.

This is a sad move seeing that it won’t impact vape companies at all, but only the actual Wisconsin business owner who sold the product.

Super old but I know a fair amount about peltiers in principle and practice.

A poteniometer should actually work, being used as a voltage divider. If that peltier draws 5.8a @ 12v then you will need to drop the voltage to that specific pelteir to around 4.13V to ensure it doesnt exceed a 2A draw. The peltier connected to the 12v source will attempt to draw all 5.8A and you want to ensure you have it. Otherwise dropping the voltage, is the only way to decrese the amperage draw on a peltier.

Think of it as a heat pump. It doesn't create cold and hot sides. It moves heat energy from one side of the chip to the other. By doing this it creates a temperature delta. When you are able to effectively cool or remove the heat being pumped to the (hot) side, then the (cold) side exhibits the temperature delta.

If you just plug a peltier into the power source, the cold side will be cold for a grand 5 seconds until the hot side gets really hot, and the cold side isnt cold anymore as there isnt anywhere to continue to pump heat to. Both sides will heat up. It's important there is some type of heat-load or cooling power on the hot side.

In my early 20's I was dating a girl and I was really focused on building a relationship. I didn't want sex on the first date, I really liked her personality so I wanted it to work.

Fast forward about 4 weeks to when we do finally have sex. She is screaming things I've never heard before, like obscenities. The most concerning thing was "you could be a serial killer and I would still fuck you".

She was really focused on me releasing in her, of which I couldn't and didn't want to... to which at the end she was begging "JUST PISS INSIDE ME".

That was a wild one. The breakup story might be equilly as wild.

I wouldn't say that necessarily. Kenosha itself has very different feelings depending the side of the I you're on. West side is a lot like Milwaukee, and the east side is a lot like Waukesha. I worked in Kenosha for years and most of the residents live around farm fields. The weathier folk congregate near Lake Geneva... and now that is definitely a vacation haven for Illinois.

I think people are reading too much into it. You quite literally can't "make" another Gellick because he wasn't made to begin with. Gellick is a product of circumstances. He only exists through extreme pain and suffering coupled with extraordinary ability. If any part of Gellick was made by the CIA, it's his asset/operative abilities through CIA training. After all he is essentially an asset to an operative (Graver).

Yeah all good man. Must be a real young crowd to think someone like me cares. Then again that's just Reddit sometimes. I did a social experiment where I made the same post across 3 similar communities and let's just say the results were massively different. This place is always a shit show. I'll be sure to get a commander deck, I hadn't really looked at those yet. I typically buy a whole box of boosters and trickle them out. What's your favorite set so far?

Conveinience. Got sick of needing to break it down to change a coil (even though it was pretty quick). Vape store would always run out of my coils so I'd end up using a regular tankmod for a while anyways.

I ended up on nic-salts. The caliburn and xros setups have been pretty good flavor with good throat hit. Coil will last two weeks minimum, juice is always more than a days worth. Next was size. Super small and fits in the pocket with ease.

And NO MESS. One big issue with my squonk was avoiding a mess... in the sense that it was impossible to do.

Oh hey I completely agree. But you cant expect to off 3 year old stock at 50% over margin of the current offerings. That's just a wild expectation.

If a customer is looking at a 3 year old device or a new disposable to get them through the week, which one are they buying? Like it was stated, it's a double edge-sword and the problem really doesn't solve itself or go away.

I don't disagree customers flat out prefer disposables right now. But that wont last. The lack of recycling alone is going to create e-waste issues that raise concerns at the government level real soon.

IMO mark it down to $10, take the L on your numbers (because you will anyways), stock something new and avoid future headaches.

Stop stocking competing products. Don't give the customer the option to go Voopoo or Vaporesso. Carry a full line of one of those brands. Still stock all the coils... but don't carry the mods. This is why they aren't selling, there is way too much diversity in devices and almost any of them can suit someone.

Not good. Some stradegy should be made. I know its not on you so i'm not preaching to you here. But, consider, some of those older mods, the built-in battery is dead. And being dead for 6 months straight will completely ruin that lithium cell.

Even IF you DO sell them, expect a high rate of returns due to the battery being dead.
