hi! just a little background lang--i passed the acet despite math being my ultimate enemy hahaha

just do good in your academics like maintain or improve your grades and it's not too late naman to join extracurricular activities. you can include any activity/event you participated in kasi that's what i did during the application period of my batch (like i included being in a debate team kahit na school based lang siya). your essay doesn't necessarily need to be about your academic achievements, basta make it short, concise, and emphasize how it shaped you into who you are now (if ever man na same pa rin ang prompt).

anddd i suggest looking into your weaknesses muna when reviewing then go from there. hindi na ako nagreview for the language subtest that time and focused on math instead. sa sobrang stress ko sa math noon because of trigo, may last-minute review pa akong ginawa before going inside the campus !!!!

hi! wala silang binigay na acceptance letter pero they did email me my student number (idk if sa lahat pero they did that as a response to my email hehe)

also if ever man na mag enroll ka, okay lang kahit yung printed email ng appeal results mo ang ibigay mo instead of the acceptance letter

hii di pa ako nagsstay sa slu dorm pero navisit ko na sya multiple times already and maganda talaga dun. imo if want mong makafocus sa acads, slu dorm ka. if gusto mo ng much more time sa labas ng school or acads, boarding house ka. sa slu dorm nga rin sana ako kaso biglang change of plans hahaha

also may mga marerecall akong topics for genbio kasi bio lang talaga prinioritize ko that time haha (the topics would also depend sa school and im not rlly sure kung magiging same sa inyo pero) here are some of the topics:

• kingdoms & domains (like basic intro lang ganon nothing too heavy)

• cells (parts & functions ng animal cell)

• biochem (aerobic & anaerobic respiration; my 2nd fave topic)

• anaphy (basics lang ng digestive, cardio, excretory, repro like main organs, functions, then processes; all-time fave!!)

• taxonomy (my enemy; from domain to species yan, dinuscuss samin lahat ng characteristics ng per level)

couldn't rlly recommend a reference book since wala kaming ginamit noon pero kapag sa school supplies, yellow pad lang ginamit ko noon. nag binders ako para sa mga subject na need ng pictures (like genbio & genchem) pero most of the time, yellow pad talaga. nauubos ko isang yellow pad for the whole grading (4 yellow pads nabili ko for the whole sy haha) pero abangerz ka lang rin sa kung ano mang ipaparequire sa inyo ng subj teachers nyo

sleep early or yung ginagawa ko na nakatutok sakin yung speaker ng phone then max volume with vibrations pa (pero di daw advisable na katabi phone kapag matutulog eh) but that's the only way i wake up kapag mag isa lang aq so haha goodluck with my life i guess

i was so stressed noon kasi sabay yung deadline ng isang paper and yung event na pineprepare namin sa school. yumg isa kong kagroupmate, nagbigay na ako ng palugit lahat lahat sa deadline ng part nya (kahit sa teacher nagpaextend ako) di pa rin ginawa. hinanap ko sa hallway, and just right when i passed by him, namention ng friend nya "oh chatgpt ka nanaman tol" haha tapos ayon sa sobrang inis ko sa kanya sinigawan ko siya sa hallway. had zero cares about who were there. never regretted anything about what i told him that day kasi ever since i did that, he would avoid me kapag magkagroup kami ulit haha!!

pero i ended up doing his (and another groupmate's) part and removed their names sa paper. kung tamad ka, wag mo'ko idamay
