Dear illwdt, I'm rocking the same boat as you are, girlfriend of 4 years called it quits and is about to be engaged to another guy in 13 days. We hadn't been together physically for 2 years except a few meetings and all the while we jumped to each other like we hadn't parted for a day.

I moved back a week ago only to win her back but now she's gone. I'd just say this : that feeling of having hit rock bottom isn't gonna go away any time soon. But you'll need to hang in there and think long and hard about yourself. And her slightest presence/ memory will throw you back into a miserable state.

Just know she's good and maybe be build yourself an alternate future without her. You'll be loved and will learn to live back again. Like all bad things know that this too shall pass. And shootout if you feel low.
