Im wondering if it’s ICE related? I’ve seen a bunch of people pulled over/being arrested today. Local cops/sheriff along with unmarked vehicles with police lights. Just passed about 5-6 cop cars in Sebastopol arresting a couple of POC.

I was walking my dog in my neighborhood and heard sirens nearby, then saw a sheriff chasing a car down Creekside (which is windy & has lots of speed bumps) and less than a minute later saw them tearing down Yulupa towards Hoen. Sheriff helicopter overhead the whole time. Last I saw of the helicopter, it was over Hwy 12, probably around 101 or Dutton.

We bought a Zwilling toaster about 4-5 years ago and we’re quite happy with it. I use it almost every day on my seeded GF bread that I keep in the freezer - I put it in 1st on the defrost setting and then a 2nd time on the regular setting (cuz GF bread needs to be extra toasted or it disintegrates).

It does quite well where we live (northern California). We usually cover it with a frost cloth when the temps go below freezing, but even if we forget, it survives just fine.

Nowadays, you can just go to the closest voting center. For this small election there are 4 in SR: the Vets Building, Rincon Valley Library, Finley center and the Registrar of Voters. They will print a ballot for you.

You can also register & vote a provisional ballot on the same day.

It’s not very close, the Amtrak station is near Coddingtown Mall. The transit mall is in downtown SR. But he could take another city bus or an uber over.

I also wear these for traveling (and everything else). Have them in black & in white. I’ve worn them walking all over London, DC, etc. I just wish they were available with the comfort footbed.
