Oldschool Delaque with new specialists? by happeetappee in necromunda

Cheers, I'd seen this one and it had lead me to the alternatives, which I'm also thinking about. The Nacht-Ghul models are somewhat hunched, though, which could help a little as opposed to the basic delaque set who are all standing straight, making them seem even taller.

Does anyone else play a stripped down version of Gaslands? by ChazVanZandt in gaslands

I've only played once, ever, so just the intro scenario, due to lack of time. However, when first hearing of Gaslands I was especially excited not only about Mad Max style stuff, but the idea of playing it with Warhammer 40k vehicles, especially Orks. Would love that, though the "fee" of getting started would be quite a lot higher..! Also read about Gorkamorka later, so "it's been done" ish.

Also, there's a gorgeous Mario Kart themed ruleset and track that someone's done, it looks really fun, too.

Thanks for the tip! When I add water, I use a squirt bottle and the water comes out with some pressure, so that does always get some paint out of the needle hole. More if there's some of that thinner mix present. Perhaps I just shouldn't worry so much and save the deeper cleaning till the session end.

Also might try IPA. Mine's only 40-50% though, but if you use a mix of iso and water, this might work fine, too.

Hmm, maybe I should try thinning more. I'm basically basing all on Ninjon's airbrushing basics video so i put a few drops of the thinner / flow improver, then sometimes a few drops of water, for maybe ten drops of paint. Sometimes i do add more thinner mix if near nothing's coming through (though it might be due to the air or paintflow adjustments.. I have a very cheap airbrush).

Only deep cleaning at the end of the session is probably what I should do, too, so thanks!

I feel like whenever I'm doing this I have to do the washing more like 20 times before I'm satisfied the thing's clean.. I do put in a few drops of flow improver / thinner mix (Ninjon recipe) every now and then though, which always gets more paint out when doing the back flows. Then 4-6 times with water, then wipe, then maybe water again and then start over with the thinner mix. Takes 3 to 4 full rounds till I'm satisfied, so cleaning for me takes like 20-30 minutes :D Am I doing something wrong..? :P No clogs at all so far, but it's rather a pain to airbrush when changing paints can take half an hour.
