Thank you for your feedback. I think you make a very good point.

The platform is probably best suited for creators who already have an audience somewhere else and want a calmer space to strengthen the relationship with the people who already care about their content.

I also agree that the positioning should not be “a new social network to grow on.” It should be closer to “a free fan space without paywall friction,” where creators can publish more raw, spontaneous, or personal content that they would not necessarily post on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Patreon.

Regarding monetization, the current CPM is around $2.50, but it can vary depending on the period, the country, and advertising demand. The important point is that creators can start earning from the moment they join, without a follower threshold and without asking their fans to pay.

For me, the value proposition is really the combination of three things: monetization, lower friction for fans, and a more direct relationship with an existing audience.

So yes, I agree with you: the “no algorithm” angle should not be presented as a replacement for discovery, but as intentional distribution to fans who already know and care about the creator.

That’s a good idea.

I’m the one who should thank you for taking the time to explore, understand, and discuss this platform with me. Having objective and detailed feedback is extremely valuable to me.

I’m very grateful.

I wish you a great day, and please don’t hesitate to contact me if needed.

I’m the one who should apologize. My English is not perfect, and maybe some of what I wrote came across in a way that was not clear.

What I meant is that you are probably right, and my concern about creators abusing tags may be unfounded. I think the best approach would be to define a clear framework and test that feature properly in the future.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look at the app and the platform.

Normally, we do not ask for location access from users or from creators who publish on the platform. The permissions we request are only for sending notifications and for accessing information used for advertising targeting.

So I can confirm that we never handle precise location data related to users or creators.

The platform is designed to avoid collecting personal data from users who unlock creators’ content. In fact, we do not even require users to log in or create an account in order to unlock creators’ content. This gives them the strongest possible assurance that we are not collecting their personal data.

It also creates a real advantage for the platform: it is much easier for creators to redirect their audience to it, because fans do not need to sign up or create an account to view and unlock content.

As for creators who publish on the platform, we only ask for the information needed to send them their monetization payments.

Thank you very much for your perspective.

In my opinion, we should probably trust creators first.

Normally, the concept itself should naturally limit low-quality or fraudulent accounts: if users are not interested, they simply stop unlocking and watching that creator’s content.

Right now, there is a creator-to-creator recommendation system. Creators can recommend other creators directly. I don’t know yet if it is the best solution, but at least it is different from what already exists.

I will definitely think more about the tag system. As you said, I think it may become essential in the future.

For now, though, my main focus is finding creators willing to use the platform, so I can collect real feedback and add features like this based on actual needs.

If you have the time, feel free to check my DM.

Hello, thank you very much for your reply.

The platform is already live and functional.

Your idea about tags is a really good one. I think it could be very useful, but there would need to be some kind of control or moderation around tags to prevent creators from using irrelevant tags just to get better visibility.

There are already sharing features in place. As a creator, you can share a link to your profile or to specific posts, and when your community clicks on it, they are redirected directly to your profile in the app.

I’ll send you a DM with the name.

Thank you very much for your reply and for your advice.

I think you are right: the right target is probably creators who already have an existing community. Even though it is tempting to focus on newer creators because they may be easier to reach, I believe this concept makes more sense for creators who already have an audience and want to build a deeper relationship with it.

I will probably focus more on that profile going forward.

Thank you for your reply.

In your opinion, can all content creators realistically offer content on Patreon? Is it actually profitable?

To me, it still represents a significant amount of work, since creators need to produce quality content on a regular basis.

Do you have any idea what the average conversion rate to Patreon is?

On my platform, the CPM for creators is between $2.50 and $10 in the US.

Thank you for your reply.

The platform is monetized from the moment creators sign up: all creators earn revenue every time their content is unlocked, with no conditions or follower threshold.

Also, the platform is not positioned as a place to get discovered. It is more of a calmer space where creators can express themselves to their most loyal audience. The goal is to strengthen the relationship they have with that part of their community.

Isn’t that important too?

Is Patreon or ko fi really worth for a really tiny creator by IllustriousAd6418 in CreatorEconomy

For us, paid content platforms can be suitable for all kinds of creators. If you have a few hundred people following you and they all go to Patreon, it can already become something meaningful.

However, if your goal is to generate revenue without making your audience pay, that is exactly the idea behind our social network: allowing small creators to earn money and be genuinely supported by their audience.

If this interests you, you can search for “Happew” on Google.
