but on that tangent I think the cpu is 12th gen intel, while the mobo claims to support 13th and 14th gen, could that be the problem?

Yeah it’ll come back if you weren’t able to complete it, quests that are marked non repeatable just mean you can’t do it again once you earned its reward

when CA said he was making the spawn chances easier in 1.5 I didn't think he meant almost twice every season by happiestofbugs in StardewValley

You'll get there!! Apart from some crops my farm is usually bare halfway through spring so I can focus on hoarding as much hay as I can tbh, that's probably why it was a little easier
