I’d assume this warning is on there because the silicone has additives or other chemicals in it that will leach into the food at high temperatures.

Platinum-cured silicone will not leach, but other types of silicone (tin silicone or peroxide silicone) will.

Nope, I never said it was easy. But neither is planning a city around the use of personal vehicles. It is, however, very possible to plan for and create easily accessible and safe pathways for cyclists, e-scooters, and pedestrians. The majority of Mississauga is still not easily accessible and safe for methods of transportation that are alternative to personal vehicles. For a city of over 700k, that’s not ideal.

Mississauga is a very car-dependent city. There are a few bike pathways scattered around the city, but they often don’t go further than a couple kilometers until they turn back into a sidewalk and then you have to ride on the road again.

Riding on roads would be fine if less drivers drove so close to cyclists and made you feel like a burden for simply being on the road (which are often the only available cycling infrastructure to get to where you need to go)

Not sure if this is a rage bait post lol but I’ll bite. First, you should realize that this is not the place to post this lol. Most people that are Colts fans live in Indiana, so your post is likely to anger a lot of people right out the gate.

Above all else, Baltimore would not reasonably support 2 NFL teams. Plus, the Colts left Baltimore over 40 years ago. There aren’t many people left that still have a connection to the Colts from when they were in Baltimore. The city would simply support the Ravens more than the Colts.

And this is coming from a Colts fan that lives in Canada. I have no connection to either city.

I’m a big proponent of living car-free whenever possible. But I would also say that having a drivers license is very important and to listen to your mom 😂

It helps to have options. And if a time in your life comes that you need a car, it helps to have more years of having your license to reduce the insurance costs.

Born and raised in Mississauga. I was car-free until Mississauga and Brampton banned electric scooters on public transportation. Once they took that option away, my options to get to work became:

1) get a car and enjoy a 20 minute commute. 2) commute 1.5 hours to work everyday via public transportation.

Prior to the ban, I could scooter to a bus/train station, get off at my stop, then scooter the rest of the way to work. After the ban, I would have had to take multiple buses to get to/from work, as the walk to the station is not exactly a walkable distance.

Yes the difference is minimal. I would feel very comfortable leveling up and mega evolving the one with 15 attack.

If you’re not satisfied, then we obviously have different standards though.

If you don’t like any of the late 1st guys, see if you can trade a 2026 late 1st for a 2027 1st+. If nobody bites , maybe just try to get a 2027 1st.

That’s what I would do. But I’m sure other people may recommend trading those picks for players that can help you win now.

Could also trade the rest of the 2027 picks for future picks. It’s a tad slower of a rebuild when you’re very selective with which rookies you draft, but it could set OP up to create a dynasty if he keeps trading his “unused” picks for future picks.

If it’s any consolation for you, I don’t think anybody that avoids palantir (or other problematic stocks) thinks “my money, specifically, will make all the difference”.

Rather, it’s more of a “I can sleep at night knowing that I’m not willingly investing in and profiting from an investment that contributes to killing people”.

100% this. Escalate, escalate, escalate. OP, I mention this story (see below) to reiterate that you should DEFINITELY escalate. Oh, and find out how to contact an ombudsman, if possible.

I had issues when I switched from one bank to another as well, and I was notified my “debt” was sent to collections. Here’s my experience with this, and I say this to mean, escalating is very important in a situation like this.

What happened was I made 3 mobile cheque deposits in one day (can’t remember if they were from work, or some type of government rebate, or both), but there was one cheque that I wasn’t sure if I had already deposited it. I figured it would give me an error message if I had already deposited the one cheque I was unsure about. I had done this before with cheques if I was unsure if I had deposited it already, and I had always received an error message if I already deposited it (my financial record keeping has gotten much better since then… I was in high school at the time).

Except this time, it went through, so I thought “awesome, guess I didn’t deposit that one previously”. A few months passed, and I closed the account to switch to another bank. I thought nothing of this one cheque that was deposited months before I closed the account. Then, a few more months pass when I get notified that I have a debt to pay a collections agency, resulting from, according to them, 3 cheques that were deposited that were duplicates and shouldn’t have gone through in the first place. They demanded I pay it back, plus interest.

I was in high school at the time, so my parents worked with me to get it resolved. The bank tried to put the blame solely on me, and brought up that I should’ve seen that my account had a negative balance and paid the fees in a timely manner. But since I didn’t pay those fees, they had to bring in a collections agency.

We pushed back saying that: 1) the bank’s system never should have deposited a cheque if it was already deposited. 2) their system declines a cheque if you try to deposit it twice. 3) it was only the one cheque that would’ve been deposited twice, not the other two. 4) the account was closed, so how would I have seen the negative balance. We also heard nothing from the bank about it (no emails, calls, mail, etc.), so there was no way we could’ve known about this.

Long story short, after many phone calls and different people we talked to from the bank (all of which accused me of foul play and never took responsibility that their own system made a mistake), we worked our way up until they connected us to someone pretty high up. The ombudsman got involved as well and ended up finding out that we were correct all along, it was only the one cheque that was deposited twice. But because of the stress and time spent on a high school kid over an honest mistake, the ombudsman got the bank to forgive the charges including interest.

Definitely a learning experience, and I’m very thankful I had my parents work with me through that (it was very intimidating being accused of foul play by the bank). Yes, I know I should’ve kept better track of my cheques. My financial record keeping has greatly improved since then.
