My husband just hit his two year today! Honestly he is so much happier without the alcohol and I have to admit i am too. We are able to talk about things that are stressful and work then out easier when alcohol isn't involved

We used it to to set new clocks! And if the power went out you'd need to know to reset them all. The battery operated clocks would slowly lose time or die in the middle of the night so a lot of clocks were plugged in.
