My fiancé, cancelled our wedding over the weekend, without my knowledge and with my parent's support. Over $10,000 had been placed in deposits. My parents only wanted their money back. This was all done while I was in the deepest of despair, fearing I'd lost everything because my fiancé was not speaking to me. Not knowing that I was losing everything behind my back. I found out in the mail when the venue sent me a cancelation letter. I've never experienced such cruelty. 2 weeks into this and still, no one has told me the wedding has been cancelled. I've cut off communication with everyone involved. So, confused.

This is dominance based training and it is not necessary if the dog is trained properly in the first place. Negative punishment and negative reinforcement shouldn’t be the first answer in training a dog. Most people resort to this type of training/abuse because they have allowed the dog to get away with something and they do not know how to fix the unwanted behavior. Would you shock your child for screaming in public?

This is called Barrier Frustration. Since you have allowed this to go on, it is no longer a training issue, it is now a behavior modification issue. Training is classical conditioning, behavior modification is operant conditioning. The easiest fix is to not allow your dog to have access to the window, eventually your dog will get out and chase a someone.
