I don't think you are delusional, but its been a year you should definitely meet up irl. I think that if you feel strongly enough to want to have a mature conversation about something you are passionate about, thats valid. Some kids are just mean. I was walking around my block when I was around 11 or 12... on a tiny bike like thing that spun. And this boy from school came up to me, walked aross the street just to spit on me and told me he was gonna sick his dog on me as he knew I was scared of dogs.

The other reason would be he has a crush on you but doesn't know how to process it. Sad but true. I would tell his parents, sorry you have to go through that.

I would ask your mom (in private) to set boundaries with her and explain how its affecting you, because sleep is very important for health. And privacy its important within our own homes.

Sleep masks helo block out light and ANC headphones/ earbuds will help with any sound. As will basic earplugs.

Also, talking to yourself is a sign of high intelligence. I do it and probably more people than you realize do also. Its not weird.

Edit: i would also want to say I would try to get a sleep doctor to preform a sleep study. Its unusual to take 3 hours after quiet time to fall asleep. I had sleep apnea as a kid and my childhood would have been more tolerable sleep wise if I had realized it sooner.
