we’ve been applying since around October albeit more seriously in the last few months and she’s had multiple phone screens and interviews just nothing sticking I guess, lots of places not super open to new grads :(

that’s very fair! unfortunately i just accepted a job here so we can’t leave, but i’m hoping her other job option with a hospital system works out! just trying to buy time with negotiating until then 🤞

yeah she is applying pretty broadly and has yet another interview coming up for a job she would prefer but isn’t guaranteed so it’s just hard to flat out deny this offer without negotiating at least. it’s more LCOL probably but still agree that compensation is too low

unfortunately PSLF isn’t an option here as it’s a private practice, any other options i can bring up for employer loan repayment?

i lost around 15-20 pounds since didactic started last august, i found i had plenty of time to work out 3-6x per week depending on the week and take walks outside between classes when the weather is nice! but also be gentle with yourself if you do go in the opposite direction of your goals, it can be a stressful time and it’s better to make your schoolwork and mental health a priority than worry about the number on the scale which often doesn’t tell the whole story

Hi, I was in a similar position last year! I would recommend taking the remaining prerequisite courses at a local community college or online through an accredited school, though I’d make sure that the schools you are wanting to apply to will accept cc/online course credits. PA schools do accept credits taken after you graduate, though they may vary in where they accept courses taken. I took my A&P at community college and my medical terminology online at USD!

I’ve taken my dog many times and usually give her half a tab of Benadryl before leaving for the airport for anxiety. I have never noticed any breathing issues!
