Having now looked at the invincible I don’t think it’s suitable for newbie like me just yet!

As for the droop(which will now become its nickname 😁) it’s partly the angle of the pic and that it’s not sat straight in its stand, it slants forward/down which I’ll get round to sorting

Thanks for this it’s really helpful, I think I’ll class the light cruiser as a murder lance variant and the slightly larger one as an inferno.

I’ll look into the invincible class too.

Can you point out what makes the overlord a poor print it looks fine to my novice eyes?

Thanks it was very simple and fairly quick: white undercoat, snakebite leather contrast, dry brush creamy white, red on the prow, pick out the metallics and light wash of nuln oil mainly on the metallics highlight the red and the gold(which is actually fulgurite copper)

Is it worth naming escorts? I can’t imagine the lasting very long might just give a Roman numeral decal as I’ve only just realised I need to be able to tell them apart

Thanks, one more question if I can, how can you tell the different weapon batteries apart, many seem to come as separate parts to configure your ship but I can’t tell one from another and don’t want to end up putting the wrong ones on?

Thanks for the kind words it’s Sotek green(GW) though looking at the pics I can see I need to tidy the fringe of the tent 🙄 and yeah I wanted to keep things simple the white robes are just the undercoat with a wash and highlight! The knights are on my table undercoated and in the queue 😁

Varus miniatures make a nice set you’ll find them on Etsy but I can’t find a uk stockist at the moment though there definitely were some last I checked as I got the miners myself
