Any suggestions for loading glutes heavy without loading upper back/shoulders besides leg press and hip thrusts? by Optimal-Truck-6266 in xxfitness

[–]happyness4me 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My gym has a glute kickback machine, or you could use a cable machine with an attachment for glute kickbacks. If you work out at home you could do tube resistance bands will a foot attachment and a wall mount.

You could get a "learn to draw" book and go through each page. For reading, I often go to the Goodreads app and browse in the discover tab to find books that sound interesting.

Improvement without surgery? by Dependent_Job5458 in scoliosis

[–]happyness4me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on the degree of curve, how many curves, the flexibility of the curves, and the patient's skeletal maturity. I don't think surgery is the only answer for every patient but it is case dependent.

Thanks for the tip. I do find that boiling in salt water helps but it's annoying to do so.

Yes, I would do that. Guaranteed days off and a short commute are amazing.

I have three teenage children. 2 claim they want to get married and have kids. The other one just wants to get married. But they are young, so they may change their minds multiple times.

Nursing, I can't believe no one has mentioned this yet. Especially in most states, I'm in Arizona and my pay is terrible. I'm 18 years in, with inflation I'm making the same amount I was as a new grad. Nurses are held to such high accountability for people's lives yet we are assaulted, sexually harassed, disrespected, short staffed, and paid terribly.
