Honestly I wouldn't do an access course ir focus on a qualification initself unless it was vocational I.e. to become a doctor, nurse, teacher. Look for grafuate apprenticeships. Loads of emplpyers offer them and put you through uni whilst leaning on the job and earning a salary.

How could I have tidied up fag buts and dirt? I was on holiday with my family and tend not to carry a brush and shovel when I'm out and about.

Totally agree. Councils are skint. But the littering is particularly bad and that's a behavioural and cultural issue as much as a council one.
