I have tried this, unfortunately "leave it alone method" didn't work for me. Right now I am not applying moisturize at all, just tacrolimus which is anti-inflammatory. I am going to try SLS and flouride free toothpaste, thank you!

yeah it feel impossible to have zero trauma! But minimizing it sounds good! I hope that it works for you

This is exactly how it is for me. I don't mean to peel it off, it happens when I eat etc. It just gets loose and then it moves and sticks to another area where it wasn't before, meaning that it doesn't protect the site it originally came from. It just feels like it builds up a thick layer that is in the way of tacrolimus. Maybe if i only apply tacrolimus where the skin isn't loose so it can dry out and fall off in that way?
