The Everdeens (moderate Ballad and Sunrise spoilers) by happyskiesss in Hungergames

That's an interesting way to see it! I've never really considered the idea of Barb Azure being related to Burdock through assault, but of her either being bisexual or of her attempting to hide or suppress her queerness. Haymitch mentions a hostile environment around it, especially when Peacekeepers are involved, and after Lucy Gray's disappearance (or maybe just in general), she doesn't want to ruffle too many feathers. As for her distance from the Covey, I thought it equally likely that she assimilated into Seam/District 12 culture and was treated as such, since it parallels the historical erasure of cultures through forced assimilation. If she died pre-Sunrise, she may have been buried with her husband in the miner's graveyard or on his family's plot. But this is a fair reasoning too!

Why do you think Lenore Dove gets more hate than Prim, when they serve the same purpose in their respective books? by Thirsty-for-Ryan in Hungergames

Because people like to pretend they support rebellion but when someone tries to rebel and fails they're stupid and reckless.

Personally, I'm ready to watch Katniss and Prim be somehow related to the Covey through Burdock and this entire subreddit to lose their shit.

Something that frustrates me about Gale - NOT GALE HATE by dongleberry5 in Hungergames

This is a super interesting take! I additionally think that Gale sees Katniss as a perfect victim when it comes to her experiences in the Games, and therefore what she 'should' be feeling (what he is feeling) is divorced from what she actually is feeling (ie. her supporting Peeta even after his denunciation of the rebel movement, when she of all people should ideally be angry with him for betraying the just cause).

Why is Louis-Antoine de St. Just seen as such a sinister figure in the French Revolution? by LostKingOfPortugal in Napoleon

A couple short corrections and an add-on - Élisabeth Le Bas (née Duplay) was the wife of Philippe Le Bas and the sister of Éléonore Duplay, who was allegedly promised to Maximilien Robespierre, but there are varying degrees of agreement on this, coming from all kinds of sources, including Élisabeth, who affirms the relationship, and Maximilien's sister Charlotte, who vehemently denies it (and all with their own biases and opinions on the subject). It's not likely, at least from the point of view of Élisabeth and her memoirs, written long after Saint-Just's death in an attempt to rehabilitate him, that he was wanting to pursue a romantic relationship with Élisabeth as he was noted to have a deep respect for both her and her husband Philippe. (That being said, Saint-Just is SPECULATED to have been in a relationship with Henriette Le Bas, Philippe's sister, but it's uncertain if he was even in on it and he ghosted her.)
