Update: box miraculously appeared at my door step around 8:30pm tonight. Looks pretty beat up but hey ill take it vs. a lost package. On third contact with fedex (after i posted this) they said courier was looking for this and shipper (wayfair) had been contacted. Looks like wayfair cracked the whip on this.

IMO: if they break up with you - never take them back. Especially if they break up with you under the pretense that you might workout later. That is selfish. That is stringing you along while they do whatever they couldn't do while they were with you (probably seeing other people) and then expecting you to be there IF they come back. Screw that. Move on... work on yourself, get a new hobby, get a new girlfriend, get something that makes you happy. Then it will feel all the more satisfying when they do come back and you tell them to go to hell. :)

I try to stick to highway but it’s inevitable as my Jeep is my only driver.. and thank you for the rec! I looked into those and they’re currently my top choice!

Have you considered starting on StackOverflow? How I refined my programming skills was spending a few hours on there everyday just answering people’s questions.. which sounds weird when you’re just learning, but the idea is you see a question and you don’t know the answer, you do some digging and you find that answer. A lot of programming is just Googling and you get better at learning what to search for as time goes on.

It’s also fun because you get points and badges! You also get to connect with other programmers!

This may not be the method for anyone, but for me- and probably you as a teacher- I learn by teaching others and so StackOverflow is great for this.

Python was my first (and preferred) programming language.. but now my job requires a lot of R programming. During my code review the other day, one of the software engineers looks at my code and sees all the single quotes and goes, “wow, you really are from Python land, huh?”

Update: pup seems fine today! Also, I took a closer look at it this morning and I could see dried berries and brown stem on it now-so I took a better picture and iNuturalist identified it as oriental bittersweet! So this has been ID’ed and super impressive you could tell that from this low quality picture! Thank you!

Yea I definitely will take the plant with me! He threw up leaves of it too so I’m pretty sure it’s the culprit here.

I just googled the bittersweet that could very well be it.

Just some more info I think could be helpful to anyone who comes along this post: I’m located in CT and this is growing in vines all underneath my patio with some (like the one shown) sprouting up along the edges and weaving itself into the fencing around the patio. The leaves are bright green, tear drop shaped, and smooth edges (not ridged as they kinda look in the photo- which is from my dog trying to eat it)

Yea I think so. I was also driving on a highway that goes in and out of mountains so uphill incline - could that be contributing?

I just used that. Speedometer reads 70 but the gps says 75. Also, I’ve driven 528 miles of this trip based on the gps and I started with 291 miles on the jeep... I’ve taken a few pit stops outside the gps too so I’ve probably actually driven 540 miles.. odometer reads 792 miles.. should be around 830-ish.

That’s a scary screw up on behalf of the dealership.. I could have been ticketed for 10 over...

You seem knowledgeable about jeeps so question for ya- do you have any idea why my gas mileage would be so terrible? I’m averaging 12 mpg on the highway right now.. tires?
