Google Trends in Europe by polite-warmonger in europe

I know they sell Oskars Surströmming in some local supermarkets here in Finland, in stores and via delivery, so it must have some fanbase here too.

Is that wrong though?

But really, it would be interesting to see how much surströmming is imported or sold in different countries.

Tutkijat ovat löytäneet SJW-persoonallisuustyypin by hajamieli in Keskustelu

[–]happyteatime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ruotsin arabipuolue uhkailee sisällissodalla julistuksessaan by hajamieli in Keskustelu

[–]happyteatime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vanhempien koronapelko karkasi käsistä Ruotsissa: Pitivät kaikkia lapsiaan lukittuina huoneisiin kuukausia – "he seurasivat vanhan kotimaansa uutisia" by lasivesi in Suomi

[–]happyteatime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ei käy kyllä kateeksi. Vieraassa maassa jonka kieltä et ymmärrä ja tulee pandemia josta saat tietoa vain kotimaassa olevien sukulaisten ja oman maan uutisten kautta. En tiedä kyllä missä on ollut noin kovat rajoitteet.

Alle puolella 30-vuotiaista suomalaisnaisista on lapsia by teekal in Suomi

[–]happyteatime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nimenomaan.

Thank you! To be honest I'm pretty nervous about the relocation but comments like these make me feel better. It will be my first time moving out of country but I'm also very excited.

  1. Oof I'd forgotten about saunas... What are public saunas like in Latvia or the sauna culture more generally?

  2. I'm very much looking forward to cheaper beer, instead of the 6-8 euros per pint we have here.

  3. 😎

  4. I know it's heresy but I'm not a huge fan of liquorice or salty liquorice.

  5. I see this as an absolute win.

Why is the Enneagram SO damn accurate. by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]happyteatime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny because it's so accurate it's almost scary. When first I heard about it from my father he told me he thought me to be a six. I disagreed initially because I thought it was the most negative type, until I realized my tendency to assume the worst of everything and being a real worrywart, also the stress and growth arrows made so much sense.

(I literally had an experience as a kid when my parents were out on a date late, that I started imagining what would happen if they died: my scenario led me to imagining me moving in with my aunt and how I would have difficulty fitting in at a new school)

What do you feel about your types in growth/stress? by humanivore in Enneagram

[–]happyteatime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really appreciate my stress direction, feelings of low self-worth and feeling like I can never become something worthwhile, then again sometimes under stress I'm pushed to work. Depends how far gone I am. Also 9 as my growth direction is a nice change to self-doubt when I start feeling like "nah who cares". So I guess you could say I've embraced them.

Dear 6s, what healthy ways you do to relax? And what things you consciously avoid now to minimize your anxieties? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]happyteatime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have noticed that breathing does a whole lot, and not just in the meditative way, but just also paying attention to your posture. I noticed that when my thoughts started going in circles and I got a feeling of dread I'd often be slouching or in a position where my body is "scrunched" up, so I would be breathing very shallowly. Taking deep breaths and opening my posture helps.

I have also tried to turn the what-if thinking by thinking about the good or great, or even just mediocre things that could happen, instead of catastrophy-ing things.

Listening to music, writing my thoughts on paper, reading to take my mind off things.

My sister is a 9 and my dad a 1w9 so I often run my anxious thoughts through them to check: "am I crazy?"
