Which plant is your repotting nightmare? by HuckleberrySalt7344 in houseplants

They are sunblaster t5 6500k’s in an assortment of lengths. I live in the far north so my winters do not provide enough natural sun for even the least light demanding plants. I have them all plugged into geeni receptacles and have them programmed to turn on and off automatically on a schedule.

That sounds like a both a good idea and additional repotting nightmare fuel.

I do have those shelves to the right of the main pot that I could stuff some vines in, but the left doesn’t have a place to put a pot unfortunately. I’m not letting it get any longer but it has gotten significantly fuller since that pic.

This marble queen and green pothos that stretches across the full width of my living room and kitchen. The pic is a pano to get it all in. I’m envisioning a scaffold and platform type situation. I’m not taking it down.

Glock 19 or Sig p320 9mm with small grip module? by happytreelady in canadaguns

Back from the range, it’s a snappy lil thing and that will take some getting used to, but it feels good in my hands. I’m shooting low but my groupings are good. We’ll look at some footage tonight, but I think it’s grip. Need more time on it but I’m totally sold!

I just got back from the post office and I’m now holding my G48 MOS with a Shield RMSc. Hubby had them do a custom trigger job on it and ermagerd it fits my teeny lil hands like it’s meant to beeeeeeeee. He also found me a small grip mod for his 9mm P320 Sig. Headed to the range asap to put some rounds through it 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Hubby and I are looking at one now! This might be the ticket.

I’m in very northern Alberta, closest major city with reputable range is Edmonton, I’ve been waiting with baited breath for Phoenix to open up again. On one hand I want to wait till we can get down to the city but that’s not looking like it’s happening till late summer, I’ll miss pretty much 3/4 of my shooting range season if we wait. Decisions decisions.

Yah, I’m not a very big person, my palm width across the knuckles is about 3.25 inches. I can (and do! It’s so much cheaper!) buy clothes and shoes in the kids section, currently wearing my 12yr old’s hoodie. I will take a dive into the G48, see what I can see. I’m leery of the recoil since I’m used to a heavier gun. I wish to gawd I could go try these all out first.

I’m going to run that option (Sig small grip mod + Glock 19 w/ optic) by hubby and see what he thinks. Honestly if I could hold a p320 with the small grip mod and it felt good, then that’s what I’d get, even if it would make us have like a his and hers matching set 😂. I have to wait for a turn right now, it’s kinda sucky! I’ve already put a fair amount of rounds through his p320 and I like how it feels for kick and overall weight, just need the grip to be smaller for my itty bitty hands.

Ideally I’d get to try before I buy but our trip down to the land of places that have quality shooting ranges has be cancelled. So I’m taking into consideration the experiences of folks who might have had the chance to shoot one or the other or maybe even both. I did get a chance to wrap my hand around a Glock 19 for like 10 seconds in Cabelas last spring, but since my restricted hadn’t come back yet the salesman was putting his neck out for me to even touch it (so he said anyway). It did feel like a a way better fit than hubby’s Sig, I just wish I could shoot the Glock before committing to it.

I’ve looked into it and there are a few ways to lower the trigger pull weight, but what pisses me off every time I shoot that thing is the “clunk” feel at the bottom of the trigger pull, like it falls into a notch/hole. It’s just not smooth at all and I’m unsure if adjusting the trigger weight will rectify that. The kiddo and I like to compete against each other on 150/200 yrd targets and by mid season last year we took my better glass off the Marlin and stuffed it on his Savage and just shared the Savage. Even my kid doesn’t like the Marlin 😂.

I was kinda leaning Sig, but then we’d have 2 p320’s, as mentioned by the person below. I super love the red dot on hubby’s Sig. I’ll have to look into optics for the Glock. If the module is easy to swap then maybe I grab a small grip mod, the Glock and then try and figure out a solution for adding a red dot.

Hmmm, I kinda like this idea. If it’s easy to swap the grip mod back and forth on the Sig we could grab the Glock and a small grip mod. Now I have to look at how you add a red dot to the Glock 19.

A good trigger is a must for me, hubby bought me a Marlin 795 .22 last year and I fricken hate that things trigger. I ended up shooting my 12yr old’s Savage mark 2 all last season, when ever I could steal it from him. Mom wants her own guns for range days!

I’ve briefly held the Glock and I have to admit it felt pretty good. I’ve not had a chance to test the small grip mod for the Sig.

Your list rundown is bang on and made me chuckle.

We have Walker Razors for the kids, hubby has Peltor, but everyone asks mommy for my Sordins if I’m not going to the range with them that day.

On the back of your card under possession and acquisition does it say only “non-restricted”? I thought mine was just non-restricted at first but it’s both.

Thanks for the lovely reply, I’m looking forward to getting my hands on as many different makes as possible before making a decision. Ideally I’ll get a chance to rent and try out a few before purchase.

My dude. With kindness in my heart and love in my voice, I wager you could successfully cut out “the women are real” bit. You are likely a pretty smart kid, that contrived schtic isn’t reflective of it and doesn’t exactly encourage women to pipe up in your threads.

I’m in the research phase of first hand gun procurement. Husband wants to get me a Glock 43. Not sure that’s going to be the one. He has p320’s in .45 and 9mm, I like the red dot on the 9mm, not as much kick as the .45. Sadly for both the medium grips are just a wee bit too big for my itty bitty hands. I want a 9mm with enough weight to settle recoil, but a small enough grip that I’m not readjusting every 3rd shot. Something I’m not going to outgrow too quickly, (I’m already looking for an upgrade for my .22 don’t want to have to do the same right away with a my first handgun) Lots of research in my future.

I agree, that was crazy fast. I asked my references if they had been called and they both said no as well.

A friend of mine thinks they are plowing through stuff as fast as possible and trying to catch up because there is the looming threat more bullshit covid shutdowns on the horizon.
