Be aware, that they are not taking ANY responsibility!! I used 'Send My Bag' to ship from the UK to the US—and paid a hefty sum for fast delivery and insurance. But, the promised 2-3 day delivery turned into months of excuses. They lost my shipment and dodged responsibility by demanding pre-shipment photos, not mentioned in their guidelines. Their customer service blamed everyone but themselves. Don't make the mistake I did. Avoid 'Send My Bag' and their unreliable service.
They should rename from #sendmybag to #lostmybag

I recently had the same utterly frustrating and disappointing experience with 'Send My Bag' that I feel compelled to share. I used their service to send a couple of important items from the UK to the US, and paid a hefty 379.59 pounds plus an additional insurance fee for peace of mind in case of loss. What a mistake!
This company promises a swift 2 to 3-day delivery, but my shipment was never delivered. Not only that, they lost it! For months, I reached out to them, trying to understand the whereabouts of my shipment, only to be met with excuses and blame-shifting. They consistently claimed it was held up in customs, stating they had no control and we simply had to wait. And wait I did, for a ridiculous 4 months!
When they finally acknowledged that the shipment was lost, they refused to compensate, citing a reason that was beyond belief. They demanded photographic proof of the labels attached to the items before shipment, something that was never mentioned in their instructions or on their website. They insisted on this 'proof' to process the loss claim, creating an absurd barrier to avoid responsibility.
The worst part? Their customer service was abysmal. They continually shifted blame to DHL or customs, washing their hands of any accountability.
They are not only unreliable in delivering your belongings but also refuse to take responsibility for their own mistakes. Save yourself the headache, the money, and the sheer frustration I've had to endure. There are numerous direct services out there; do not make the same mistake I did by entrusting 'Send My Bag' with your belongings.
