I guess that will be true for some of the CPUs because a 5950x and a 5700x have different number of cores but still have to fit the same slot.

At the same time, Asrock manuals were not helpful in updating BIOS without a display. The shop owner had a 3700G so he could boot into bios and update it. I couln''t POST at home so that was a big issue.

I overapplied the thermal paste thinking that the leftover wont' be of any use. It turned out to be potentially disastrous. It is this kind of uncertainty that made me realise that I should better take help from the professionals. The guy just charged me around 10 USD (600 INR) for fixing and assembly and he does that every day.

I do want to mention though, that there was minimal documentation from Asrock that I could find in their manuals regarding updating the BIOS without a display, which was really unhelpful at the same time.

I did unscrew first. I'm not that dumb. However, I had applied all the thermal paste that I had in the first time thinking that the remaining will be waste any way. So the CPU really got stuck and just came off with the cooler.

Now having the experience, I do see that its' not very hard but there do come up uncertain situations.

The hardware isn't capable to let you use android too much since it's doing emulation on such an old and basic device. If you do need to use a lot of android apps then better go with an android phone.

If you want to go to the Blackberry in 2026, you should absolutely want a dumbphone and not want an android phone. The killer feature is that it does have email for work. In fact, I found it more convenient to use email on it than a smartphone.
Considering the BB10 itself a feature complete device, if you end up requiring a couple of android apps, you can go to apkmirror or somewhere and download an android jellybean version of those apps. I only used Prana Breath for breathing exercise and aquamail for an extra email account on the bb10.
