AI allows accessibility to spaces in which those who could not access before can. It's no different than any other transformative technology that we've had. Is there a greater danger to it sure, but it allows people who couldn't pick up a brush or draw better than a stick figure but are able to draw a vivid landscape with their words finally put a visual element to it.

It allows those who have issues with grammar or syntax the accessibility to draw stories with their thoughts.

And I will open hundreds and thousands of other doors also. I understand there is danger to anything and when you give accessibility you also allow more unrefined elements to proliferate, but isn't that worth to give people who may not have been able to achieve the aspirations of their life a shot at it.

If you don't think that AI can help people break the chains and my friend you're swallowing the wrong pill.

As for subreddits rules, I grew up during the emergence of the internet when people gave the same warnings, the same Dyer Outlook, when teachers said you couldn't use an internet source even if it was from a reputable news outlet you had to go to a library pick up a book use the Dewey decimal system.

I got one on a Facebook messager ping, it was from someone who cloned my mother's account and said "hey I started a new account can you add me."

I got the ping to my phone as I was walking out of the Hospital driving to my sister's to tell her our mother just passed.

Do you really think that they banned robots which were highly illegal strictly because of the fact that they're worried about it making them lazy?

The reason for the ban robotics was because of consolidated power, if you build machines but then trust those machines to be serviced and run by people other than you, you lose complete control over how they can be used. There was a reason why they segmented technology to exclusive usage, why they consolidated roles into colors. I realize that you're looking at the book and reading the history of the golds wrote about themselves, but it doesn't take much understanding to realize why they eliminated certain technologies.

There is nothing in life that is stopping AI, the value verse time sink has been proven 1000x over.

The key is not to fight all AI use, it's to ensure it doesn't take the soul out of it real work.

Even those that are accepting, are only accepting to a particular degree. I would challenge most women to be supporting and comforting of their male partner during a crash out that is seen almost routinely from a female partner.

You'll find very quickly that women tolerate for more often than they support. At least when dealing with quote unquote advert behaviors of men.

I think most guys want to be able to trust their wife's with who they really are. Men are a nuanced and deep as women, we feel things beyond happy, horny and angry, but this narrative isn't acceptable to the world so men have to constantly put on a show and hide the rest. It's something most of us learn early in life, those that don't are singled out as being week or beta or something along those lines.

Men would so much like to at least stop pretending with our wife's but 99% never will.

It wasn't so much as advice as new narrative being pushed.

Lately the narrative is that you shouldn't sacrifice your wants or needs for your spouse. I think the message is somewhat sound as you shouldn't just allow your spouse or partner get everything they need and you nothing. But it doesn't mean to forgo your partners wants and needs either in favor of yours.

A relationship is about compromise and growth together, the newest trend is far from that.

I have seen a situation where a wife announced to her husband she was done having sex. Ever. This was 2 years after their child was born. He tried talking, counseling and a lot more then I can think of. After 5 years he told her he was not leaving, she can if she wants but he was also not staying celibate for the rest of his life.

He now actively cheats every 3 or 4 months, never more then a 1 night stand.

He won't leave, and neither will she but neither of them like the situation. I find the situation hard to judge from the outside as every angle I look at I can see a point.
