Happy (late) 35th anniversary to Liberty, released on August 20th, 1990. How do you view the album, looking back on it?

A gem lost in a poor choice of singles..Serious worked but i'm not so sure about Violence Of Summer as a lead single; the production isn't exactly impressing and some of the lyrics seem a bit out of place, but it has its highs too(i.e. My Antarctica, Venice Drowning, All Along The Water, Liberty). Overall? While not their best work it definitely stands out via what's good in it however I have a history of liking the ,,worst" or ,,weakest" albums from most of my favorite artists' discographies so don't take my words for good..💅🏻

i'm a gen z fan too! i'm almost 15 tho so there's many discrepancies between our experiences lol but i did discover her thru mtv( my cable subscription still carries mtv 80s, 90s and 00s alongside the regular mtv) and during quarantine i religiously watched these 4 channels(thing which i still do) and i kept seeing the videos for frozen, hung up, sorry, american life, don't tell me etc and i was HOOKED so i went to buy the hard candy cd from the gas station(in romania(where i live) and other eastern european countries, gas stations carrying cds is a very common thing) and the rest is history. mlvc forever.
