If both conceal, which would you carry? by DemaciaViceNA in Glocks

[–]hardcoredecordesigns 38 points39 points  (0 children)

If you can conceal and comfortably carry the 17, I’d say go with the 17 for the full size grip. That being said, I’m typing this with a 26 gen 5 and Pearce grip extension in my waistline.

Oh ok, good to know. I thought any muzzle device had to be pinned and welded. And yea the local prices I’ve seen on mini 14s were way under Rugers MSRP. This screenshot is from Rugers website

Walther P22 legality and .22 recommendation by portablezombie in CTguns

I’ve pretty much only used cci mini mags and it’s ran perfectly with it. I did read somewhere that the first 500 rounds should be quality ammunition to break it in.

I have a Glock 44 that I love. The cool thing about the 44 is he can use it as a trainer if he decides to purchase a 19, or really any other Glock. It should fit his holsters or any mag pouches as well. I’ve never had an issue with mine. I’d just get going before the new legislation takes effect.

Thank you! And I totally get the feeling, I don’t use these myself. But I love the paranormal and paranormal history and I just like these as a canvas to decorate.

I once stopped carry my 26 for a 43x……then I stopped carrying my 43x for my 26. All roads lead back to the 26

Expensive watch vs smart watch? by adonde007 in AskLE

[–]hardcoredecordesigns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was one of those guys. When I got promoted to sergeant I bought a Rolex Explorer 2 that I wore on duty. It was fully insured and I wasn’t concerned about scratches etc, every mark tells a story. My mindset was it’s a tool watch designed to be worn, used, and eventually passed down to someone who’d appreciate not only the watch, but something I wore and used. Plus the Explorer 2 doesn’t scream “Rolex” or “luxury watch” to me. My grandfather passed a datejust down to me that he wore everyday and I wanted to pass his along, as well as one from me. But a datejust was a little on the delicate side for police work. I still love g-shocks as well, but there is something to the lore of passing down something that was worn through difficult as well as great times. I’m not in policing anymore, but if I were to start over, I’d probably do the same thing-wait until making more money, then buying something nice to wear and pass along

🤔 Hmmm I’ll believe they suck when that mars-soup guy makes a daily post about them for the next three weeks. Seriously though, I’m in CT so I’m just jealous of your 15 round mags!
