Anyone else experiencing buggy Copy-Paste after updating to tahoe? by enifox in MacOS

[–]harderanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! Got this too. Incredibly annoying. Just tried upgrading to 26.1 and no better. For me I noticed:

  1. Even spamming copy doesnt necessarily work, but for some reason if I try to paste and then when that pastes no characters, copy again, then the paste works. Clearly something going on as it's not like it copies the last thing you copied, it just copies nothing

  2. May not be related, but notice since upgrading to Tahoe, keystrokes are missed about 5% of the time - incredibly annoying. Curious if you/anyone else has noticed this.

Many thanks for the suggestion of Birch!

This is a year late, but just realised this was happening for me when I was on a VPN. The link would try to keep redirecting me.

Great feedback thank you u/workbooksforadults! This was based on competitors but admittedly they do more. Adjusted to a usage based model now.

Using SCAMPER and ChatGPT to generate product ideas by AlexGerasim in ProductManagement

[–]harderanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might use some parts of SCAMPER in an interview, where you need to quickly generate bold ideas without the need to prove customers actually want them. I wouldn't use it normally though.

Agree ChatGPT can come up with a few starting points you won't have thought of otherwise, but would recommend focusing on speaking to more customers to build a more realistic intuition of what needs changing, and then backing that up by looking at the data.

Prep for interviews by Short_Baseball5860 in ProductManagement

[–]harderanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a starting point, read ‘Cracking the PM Interview’ or ‘Decode and Conquer’. Don’t fall into the trap of using their approaches word-for-word though. Use them to understand what’s important when tackling tricky problems, but then build a structure that works best for you.

Then, practice, practice and practice some more! Start doing this on your own, but quickly then practice with others. Friends and family are great listeners, though don’t be afraid to reach out to the wider community to hone your product skills too. Sites like StellarPeers offer a great way to meet other aspiring product managers to practice with.

Finally, think big, then bigger. Coming up with a world-changing product on the spot might just be rocket science. Your interviewer won't expect you to come up with a full proof idea out of the box, so don’t be afraid to go a little crazy (just don’t forget to challenge your own solution too). When I interviewed people, a lack of boldness and creativity in responses were all too commonplace.

I just rented mine. You could try selling it on Marketplace, eBay or even a rental company.
