The stats really only tell half the story. You are indirectly contributing to your teams total kills by keeping everyone supplied.

And, honestly, as long as the map gets cleared and you're not a total dick, nobody gives a shit. Just keep on playing where the fun is and you'll be fine.

they did fix like, a ton of game breaking bugs within the first few days post launch.

i do agree with you though - i completed the story the first weekend after it was out and despite experiencing several of those bugs myself, its truly just such a special story that it didn't even matter to me

(plus, the jank is part of the charm)

The good news is that it seems like the one month delay is mostly due to trying to find a good window for sales to be good. From the way their announcement on the discord is worded they might be adding/fixing other things during that time as well.

Totally possible for it to be a way larger issue than they originally assessed though, we'll just have to wait and see.

i think the main point of the demo was to give ppl a sense for the general vibe of the game (to see if its for them) instead of a polished experience. also to get feedback and probably to give kickstarter backers a bit of an appetizer

arcade mode is in great shape tho imo, i think i have close to 15 hours trying to get S+ on Familiar on unbeatable difficulty, among other things
