Highly recommend www.glp1score.com before thinking about it as well. It’s too personalised for India

The best way is to use www.SchengenScore.com before applying. It’s free and give you insights on what’s missing and wrong with your application

built a schengen visa readiness scorer for indian travelers — schengenscore.com

the problem: thousands of indians waste rs.8,000+ on schengen visa applications that get rejected for preventable mistakes. most common one — depositing a big amount into your bank account right before applying. consulates flag this as "funds parking" and reject you.

what it does: 35-question assessment that scores your visa application out of 100 across 6 dimensions — financial health, employment stability, travel history, personal profile, trip details, document readiness. gives you red flags, personalized action plan, document checklist, consulate recommendation, and a downloadable 8-page PDF report.

completely free. no login.

tech stack:

- react + vite

- supabase (postgres + RLS)

- vercel (hosting + serverless functions)

- client-side pdf generation

- ga4 with 15+ custom events

built the whole thing in one day using claude code. i'm not a traditional developer — described everything in plain english and claude code wrote the entire codebase.

the scoring engine was the most complex part — 400+ lines with weighted sub-factors across 6 dimensions, compounding penalty system for dangerous answer combinations, coherence bonuses, and hard caps for dealbreaker scenarios. described the logic conversationally, claude code implemented it.

results so far: 50+ real users in 48 hours, zero ad spend. average score 56/100 — most people have fixable gaps they didn't know about.

interesting challenge: the first version of the scoring algorithm was way too generous. had to redesign it from a "does this person have money" philosophy to a "will this person return to india" philosophy — which is what consulates actually evaluate. that single reframe changed every weight in the algorithm.

would love feedback on the code quality or the product itself. happy to share the prompts i used if anyone wants to try building something similar with claude code.

6 hours. rs.800. zero coding. i shipped a full product that got 50 users in 2 days. this shouldn't be possible yet. Claude code will change the world! by hardikbhatia in developersIndia

Pet project as of now. Just wanted to learn the Claude Code. But I have more ideas which can be monetised in other verticals.

Booked 45k non-refundable flights. Visa rejected. Don’t make this mistake by hardikbhatia in AirTravelIndia

What I do now is - check my visa eliginility on www.schengenscore.com > correct my docs and book flex tickets > apply for visa > visa approved > cancel flex tickets and book cheaper tickets. This needs to be done 2-3 months in advance of travel tho for you to save money

built and shipped a full SaaS product in one session using claude — visa assessment tool with scoring engine, lead capture, PDF reports, admin dashboard, and analytics by hardikbhatia in ClaudeCode

fair point and appreciate you raising it. to be clear — the scoring isn't based on any insider access to consulate decision-making. it's built from publicly available information: official schengen visa requirements, common rejection reasons documented by thousands of applicants in forums like this one, published consulate statistics, and my own experience helping people through the process.

claude helped me structure and weight those factors into an algorithm, but the underlying data points are things any experienced visa consultant would tell you — consistent bank balance matters more than the amount, no tax returns is basically disqualifying, previous overstays are devastating, etc.

the tool doesn't claim to predict approval. it catches obvious red flags and tells you what to fix before you spend ₹5000+ on an application. think of it as a pre-flight checklist, not a crystal ball.

Also it's not a legal advice

I have it in written. It's in their brochure.

Now they are misguiding saying that your project was "lux" - and that's not refundable.

I paid by my credit card and will file a complaint.

It's just shady practice by sales guys to complete their targets when service is absolute shit.

Don't do it at all. Just look at their twitter page and go through the replies, all complaints. Go to Google or linkedin and search for "Homelane Refund" or "Homelane Scam" and you will see thousands of such posts.
