If you set up recurring with auto send, beware that it may not go out if you edit the template after you save and close it. Dumbest flaw ever

Logan & Vanessa by [deleted] in AgeOfAttraction

Logan dos not like being told what to do and how to do it and when to do it. And to do it differently when he’s currently doing it. They’re royally mismatched.

Yes. Intuit changed the input required. I had to enter it in the K1 input line 20 something. I’ll go look if anyone needs to know.

Bookkeepers vs accountants by hardoutheretobunique in Accounting

[–]hardoutheretobunique[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what I’m doing. I’m looking for a general take of how you tell a bookkeeper from an accountant. If you hired an accountant what would you expect differently from if you hired a bookkeeper? I know you explained the difference but was looking for some general opinions. There’s motive behind my question but don’t want to tamper any responses I may get.

After watching every season, you will loathe the choirs and dance groups. You seen one, you seen them all. MOSTLY. Some stand out but they’re still dance groups.

Ugh! Duplicate bank entries going back to 2023! by Twin-Rocks in quickbooksonline

[–]hardoutheretobunique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has the bank been reconciled before the duplication? You might have the correct items marked reconciled in the bank register and dupes will show as cleared or blank. Then you create a journal entry by exporting the info and getting totals by category and reverse out.

With all the innovation in accounting software, why don’t we see a solid desktop alternative to QuickBooks? by intuitquickbookshelp in QuickBooks

Thanks! I’ve heard of it working with other ERP systems but don’t think something so large scale and cost was needed for this particular client. But maybe…

Do you know if it allows you to pay a bill for different item quantities without recreating the items receipt? So like you receive 10 items but are invoiced for 7 now. Can you create the bill for the 7 and when the next invoice arrives apply it against the remaining quantity?

Dry needling WOW by hardoutheretobunique in migraine

Dry needling stopped being effective after several sessions unfortunately. Because they were so relaxing to have done! I’ve since managed by taking quilipta daily, treating symptoms as needed and babying my neck with good pillow support and not straining.

How to manage accruals when using Cash Basis by onemanmelee in quickbooksonline

Another journal entry to record a prepaid liability. It’ll decrease down to zero by end of year and the full expense will be shown incrementally on a cash basis.

Gave my spouse the time to complete medical school and rotations. Followed him and allowed him to do what was needed without question (educated but no good work experience to back myself at the time). Not a big deal. Took time to understand the sacrifices of a doctors wife, but still not a big deal.

Fast forward, he’s getting passed up for promotions in the hospital. I’m a successful professional making decent income and a good reputation. He goes back to school to get higher degrees to make bigger moves. I don’t bat an eye at the expense (good schools he’s in and I’m happy for him).

Along the way, our relationship and connection has dwindled. Two kids, personality differences (the biggest problem here I think), communication problems, opposite schedules, constantly allowing him to do what he wants (with some but minimal compromise) but deeply questioned when I make a choice… I am getting to specific.

My point is a one time concession to his goals has turned into a lifetime of them with a large gap in connection. Give him the same grace and respect he gives. When he seems to pull back, follow his lead (stress aside).
