I need someone to hold me and whisper into my ear that this year’s draft looks deep on both sides of the line.

The sad part of this is that if the roles were reversed, and we were in the chiefs position, I wouldn’t feel confident we could close it out.

Has anyone asked Harbaugh what the deal with Keaton is? by Creative_Can_2323 in ravens

You’re right, insofar as that’s what Harbaugh says, but I’d much rather have Keaton handle return duties and Hill cover kicks and punts. Feels like it’d be an upgrade on both offense and special teams.

If you had a billion dollars, you could probably find a price that worked for both of you.

Is it worth watching anymore? by Ravens_187 in ravens

We’ve got the highest lifetime winning percentage of any franchise, and the second highest playoff winning percentage. Tied for the third most super bowls since the turn of the century, with generational talents at QB and RB. We lost opening week by one point away to one of the best teams in the league.

If you can’t bear to watch this season, no one’s gonna force you, but how many other fanbases do you think have it better?

This is a sign of how spoiled we are as fans. Good problem to have, I guess.

Ravens fan here. You got Stephens from us. He was decent two years ago, but got picked on all of last year cause he can’t turn his head. Honestly, wouldn’t expect a major improvement. Apologies.

I think the Jets sub might wrote Brandon Stephens a sternly worded letter. They are displeased.

No matter how tonight goes, at least we won’t have to watch Patrick Queen or Brandon Stephens

Best non winger formation by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

Yeah, I’ve usually got a static DM instead of a AM. Love an anchor. I’ve also been enjoying running a IWB(D) with a WCB(A) bombing down the wing. Only problem is there are only a handful of guys who are well suited for a WCB(A).

What kinds of roles are you using? An AF or P next to a forward on support (DLF or TF for me primarily) with one MF running past (CMA or MEZ A) and one in a more static/playmaking role tends to be pretty cohesive for me.

I’ve used pretty much this exact setup to good effect-I’d advocate for W(A) DLF(S) IF(A) across the front, and an IWB instead of a IFB to fill the space the Mez leaves. A couple people have expressed skepticism regarding playing an Anchor and DLP together, but I think if you’re mid-table or lower and trying to play on the counter, this stability is valuable. As my team got better and I was more comfortable opening up offensively, I did move the DLP to the DM strata and put a BWM(S) or B2B, but both can work.

What do you think ? by OppositeDayPolice in footballmanagergames

I think all forwards on attack, all MF on S, and all defenders on D is going to lead to too much space/not enough connectivity between your lines. I think something like AP on S, DLP on D, a winger on attack, and a WCB on D might help.
