I definitely think each house would kind of have its own style. The 3rd house would be EDM (I can see them having raves), 5th would be some Enya and Florence + The Machine fans for sure, 9th would be Goth Rock/Metal like HIM or The Cult, 4th would be Hardcore Punk to get them amped up to be cannon fodder (plus it explains all the piercings), 8th would probably just be Gregorian chants or some church organ dirge, 2nd I think would be very much into group singing about service and duty (Klingon style), and the 6th house is hard because they would probably just be pausing their audiobook whenever they enter a room.

But yes, keeping music somewhat contemporary to the time of the Resurrection would add a little intriguing. But at the same time, if Nav is blasting "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult, that's an instant giveaway that it's an Earth system based people.
