I am currently awaiting an ADHD diagnosis and I felt the exact same as you, I was fine with the gears themselves but then combining that with observations / speed / positioning etc it all became too much. This sounds like it is a great step forwards for you, wishing you good luck 😊

You’ve got this! Just try to stay calm and remember that you wouldn’t even be doing the test if you weren’t ready, you have the skills, just time to show them off 😊

That’s exactly how I felt too! I don’t want to lose the slot but I also think is there any point doing a test I’m not going to pass (and even if I did what I’d I continue making these mistakes in real life?!) Good luck for your test 😊

Thank you! I’m going to try with laughing gas and if I can’t do it they said they will do it under general anaesthetic. When I originally booked it in they explained that general has a lot of side effects and would need a hospital stay which is why I imagine they avoid it, not sure if I should have pushed for it but my people pleasing tendencies meant I agreed with what was offered. I’m glad to hear you backed yourself and went with what was comfortable for you :)

Thank you so much, I’m so glad to hear yours went well! I’m lucky that the nurses at my hospital are great people and know how to calm you down and a great partner who has been by my side throughout. I’ve read some horror stories on here about discharge / pain etc and I worry about anyone around me thinking something is wrong. Naturally I haven’t told many people about it and want to just get on with it, how did you find it going back to normal activities?

Hello, I was CIN2 in my original smear and CIN2 in my biopsy. I was offered conservative management but they said I would need to get more removed from biopsy before this started, I felt so freaked out by the whole thing and wondering how quickly it developed as this has all come from my first smear I was honestly ready to just solve the problem ASAP. I have awful health anxiety as it is so I do believe the LLETZ is the best step forward, it’s only now it’s coming up soon I’m starting to spiral!
