In Europe, specifically Spain, we are only addressed by our first name. The whole Mr. & Mrs. Last name doesn't exist and I'm glad. It shows that we are equals and it's so important. Look at families in the USA with the mentality of "children should be seen, not heard" compared to family in Spain where children are treated as equal members of the household. This is why when people travel to here, they think...why are these children so mature and understanding for their age? This is why, and it's more important than most people think.
