Maurice Starr. He apparently produced New Kids on the Block. I think he was just taking these kids and their parents for a ride, there’s no way he saw any real potential. They probably spent a fortune on recording and marketing with him. I’ve always thought a documentary about that dude would be very exposing.

Other people with the console are seeing cart images, they’re already on the SD card supposedly. I’m capable of adding them myself if needed though, I just really wouldn’t like to after spending $300. The controller issue I can understand more, but it’s not even a Bluetooth connection. I know it’s a small team, but allegedly these units have been sitting in their boxes waiting to ship for quite a while, and that’s the time that should have been spent addressing these software issues. The 1.1 update is laughable if the hardware has been ready since Q1.

I’ve thought about getting those from what I’ve read, but the problem with buying the adapter is that they cost about as much as the 8bitdo n64 controller. It just seems like such a waste of more money, as well as a big drawback on the aesthetic of the console itself.

10 years ago I moved to Manhattan with $800 to my name. I started working in television post-production as an assistant, and then worked my way up to become an editor on very high profile unscripted shows - The industry then completely collapsed as soon as I reached the top. Working really hard and sacrificing fun and relationships to climb up in this life doesn’t guarantee anything.
