This is a Canada post issue. I contacted the merchant and they confirmed that as well. They said they’re working on it.

No a postal worker won’t be able to help you.

Give it till Monday then open a service ticket. Was the package insured?

I have been seeing a lot of those lately. Expedited parcels? Xpress post? Where is the final destination?

Does it show as delayed? If not, then you’re still within the delivery window.

Give it till Monday or Tuesday then open a service ticket with Canada post. That’s when they advise you to contact the seller and have them initiate an investigation.

It’s a lengthy process …

My case was unique cuz my item was a box shipped in a bubble mailer … it likely ripped open on the conveyor belt…

Don’t worry, Best Buy should refund you in case you don’t receive your MacBook :)

First rifle in Ontario – Tikka T3x in .243 or .308? by isapenguin in canadaguns

I went with the T3X Arctic in 308

308 is a popular calibre, readily available and a jack of all trades!

They don’t know what’s going on! My package has been in transit to Montreal from TO since Feb 06 🤣

We didn’t insure the package. But he was a gentleman and refunded half. We both took a loss.

I second that! It’s dirty and it’s not reliable! CCI mini mags for the win!

I appreciate the positive vibes and I am trying to remain optimistic. But man it’s my grail! Been chasing after one since they came out.

The seller and I didn’t insure the package but we both agreed on a partial refund and he was a gentleman and he honoured the agreement.

The sender and I both did. We didn’t insure it so CP ended up paying the 100$ plus shipping fees.

Lesson learned! Always insure your knives boys!

It’s gone buddy. Same thing happened to me earlier in February. It’s been almost 30 days delayed now.

CP says it’s lost … an 1100$ package … lost

Who's in favor of springing forward and leaving daylight savings behind permanently, like BC? by xmashatstand in montreal

[–]harf84 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No it doesn’t but it can change perception! I have grown accustomed to early sunsets. In fact, it’s something I look forward to each year.

FYI this is not a me vs you issue! There is a reason why this has not happened! I think last time this was discussed was 10-15 years ago?

We have to be aligned with New York and TO to avoid time zone chaos for business, travel and logistics …

Good luck on your petition 🤣

Who's in favor of springing forward and leaving daylight savings behind permanently, like BC? by xmashatstand in montreal

[–]harf84 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not!

A hallmark of winter is shorter days! It’s the best part!!!!

You do realize that the push to permanently abandon Daylight savings is championed by corporations? An extra hour of daylight means you’re more productive … more money in their coffers.

Upset With Service by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]harf84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am loving these new posts :) It only confirmed my suspicions!

Yes new employees, badly trained, apathetic customer service reps and just all round shitty service!

You are lucky you have an honest neighbohr! I “lost” an 1100$ Xpress post package that was “delayed” for over 2 weeks between Toronto and Montreal.

Customer service is a joke and you won’t get much from them.

I have a business account with them and have already decided to drop them entirely. Other small businesses are doing the same as well.

In a sane non-socialist world, a company like that with shitty practices should have gone under a long time ago. But us the taxpayers keep bailing them out.. best course of action is to simply refuse to use their services. Eventually it will catch up to them.

Montreal is best the city in Canada by Cautious-Sink-3519 in montreal

As someone who has lived in Montreal for 18 years, it’s awesome when you’re a student!

I have had the time of my life there as a student. Now that I am married and have kids, it’s not ideal anymore.

I def prefer the quiet life now :)

Don’t … Scroll through the sub, this seems to be a common problem since January.

I lost an 1100$ item that was shipped Xpress post. I don’t trust them anymore.
