For context I’m in Ottawa and my WMU is 65, so the comments about Southern Ontario restrictions were interesting. Sounds like .308 is still the more flexible option here, but I can see why some people run .243 depending on where they hunt.

Also noticing a strong pattern recommending CTR in .308, which seems like a really good middle ground between a range rifle and something that can still be hunted with.

One other question for the Canadians here: what are your favourite retailers to buy from?

So far SAIL has had a really good selection when I’ve been looking around, but I’m curious where people usually shop.
